Beyond Honored and honestly the most stunning award I’ve ever seen. Thank you International Tourism Film Festival for their highest honor in the travel industry.


Truthfully it feels a bit like cheating because it’s hard to make the Arctic look anything less then glorious especially aboard Quark Expeditions. As always I’m indebted to my Get Lost Travel Magazine family for sending me around the world to experience only the sublime for their readers.

Side note … I’ve experienced the Arctic twice. First with my father who inspired me to travel. It was the last trip we took together and not a visit went by that he didn’t bring it up. This last time it was with my best friend Peter Boggia who I’ve had the pleasure of traveling with many times (usually on two wheels;) … It was for his 40th Bday … One I hope he’ll remember.
