Leadville is a town not many people are familiar with, but should be, as they have a world class Mining museum and hall of fame there that is worth a visit. The curators have gone to exceptional lengths to showcase everything that makes mining history, culture and the industry fascinating.

From a collection of rare minerals, to amazing dioramas showcasing mineral usage to even what it’s like to dig in an actual mine, this museum is one of the most unique, fun, and interactive I’ve ever been to, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for something that will blow their minds.
